Yakfield is the brand of The Yakfield Company, a young Dutch company, specialized in travel products.

Our mission is to develop a unique collection that makes your life as a traveler more pleasant. What makes Yakfield different from most brands in travel products is the use of Waxed Canvas Cotton. The fabric has a wax treatment, which makes it not only water-repellent, but also has a recognizable 'vintage' look.

The travelgear collection was created by a team that has gained a lot of experience in travelling. Both business and private. Whether you travel by plane, train, bus and car. From door to door, walking across the airport and through the city to and from the hotel or Airbnb? Over the years we have noticed what is pleasant and what is not pleasant about travel articles. We have shared this experience with our producers in order to arrive at the right design.

We pay attention to comfort, practical details, weight, content, sturdiness, maneuverability and lifespan. We also want the collection to look good and to be an extension of yourself, as it were.

This is possible at a competitive price because of our business model. Because we buy directly from the producer and sell our collection directly to the end user, we can deliver a good product at a fair price.

Our collection has been compiled with care. We carry out quality control at the factory and upon arrival of the goods in our warehouse in the Netherlands. The packaging and shipping to you as a buyer also gets our attention.

Of course sometimes things go wrong. Something may be damaged during transport, or your purchase simply does not meet your expectations. We understand this of course.
