Return policy VEBA:
Below are some key points. Once we have received the complaint, we will respond to it substantively
and provide a re-delivery or exchange where necessary.
Herewith some important points:
- When the customer has received the order, it is important to keep the original packaging so that a
photo of the material can be provided.
- Products that are damaged, defective or do not meet requirements can be returned to VEBA's
warehouse. This is subject to a maximum period of 7 days after delivery. VEBA shall bear the costs of
returning the products.
- If a shipment arrives at the customer's premises damaged (visible damage), the customer must
always inform the carrier immediately. If this does not happen, VEBA is not responsible for the
transport damage. There is a large sticker on almost all shipments that the customer should check
the shipment for damage and correct numbers upon receipt.
- If a product does not meet personal expectations, the customer can return the product (within 14
days of delivery) at their own expense. If the complaint is unreasonable, VEBA will also pass on the
cost of initial shipping.
- VEBA can only accept returned items if the unused item is returned undamaged, complete, and in
its undamaged original packaging.
- The product must be packed as best as possible in its original packaging and with sufficient
protective materials before shipment.
- VEBA, as a supplier, reserves the right to remedy any defect first before proceeding with an
exchange.
- Dutch law applies to the handling of complaints.
Wholesale
- As producer/wholesaler, VEBA has no obligation to return products. By law, the following rules
apply to sales from Retail to end consumers:
- Retailers with a physical shop do not have to take back a product. After all, the consumer has been
able to test it extensively in the shop and knows what he or she has bought. However, the shop can
apply a return policy out of goodwill.
- Online sellers must return a product 14 days after sale, without giving any reason. The Distance
Selling Act applies to these purchases. Because the consumer has not been able to test and feel the
product, a legal exception has been made for this type of purchase.
